THE SQUID AND THE WHALE – A family with two self-interested, selfish adults, bringing up kids in their own images. Quirky, but in a mostly annoying way. Doesn’t really go anywhere, and I don’t think anyone cares.
STAR TREK VIII: FIRST CONTACT – This one’s novel, as it takes us back to pre-Enterprise Earth, and we get to see the first ever Warp engine fly. Apparently, Warp drive was invented by a rag-tag group of gypsies in post-World War 3 Earth. The Borg element to the story make this one of the worst movies in the Trek franchise for people not acquainted with the Next Generation TV series, if not just for the Locutus elements.
