BUT I’M A CHEERLEADER – “Hang up that chick habit…”

This is a great parody of that right wing Christian favorite – the de-gaying boot camps. Megan (Natasha Lyonne) plays a cheerleader who’s the last to know she’s gay. She’s dating the football player, and she just happens to think about her cheerleading pals when she’s making out with him. That’s not gay, right?

DIRTY HARRY – I’ve seen very few Clint Eastwood films, and I picked up a $10 set with the first four Dirty Harry films. No DEAD POOL, but for ten dollars, who’s complaining? Eastwood’s Dirty Harry isn’t nearly as menacing as I thought he should be. He’s assertive with the infamous “Feel lucky?” speech, but he’s still human. He’s a bit of an asshole, a bit of a racist, but he’s more about getting the job done

CADDYSHACK – I haven’t seen this in ages, and I wonder who had the incredibly stupid idea to put Rodney Dangerfield in the middle of this. It’s a bit of a clusterfuck of a movie, but I’m mostly here to see Bill Murray and Chevy Chase play off each other. It’s a bit too bad that they don’t share more on-screen time.
