ZOOLANDER – What a stupid movie. Well, it’s a movie about stupid people, but the movie itself is alright; funny and not all that full of itself. Enjoyable, but mostly forgettable.

UHF – TV on UHF was never a thing where I grew up, and I can’t even begin to imagine how this translates to people born since this film was released. Since I’ve been watching some American classics like NETWORK for the first time, so there was even more to see here – Stanley’s “not going to take it” speech and the stained glass window in the warehouse were two new references I noticed.

THERE’S JUST ONE PLACE TO GO FOR ALL YOUR SPATULA NEEDS! SPATULA CITY!

That little Clampett, he’s a millionaire!

    WHEEL! OF! FISH!

EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK – It’s not as good as I seemed to remember it from when I saw it on video as a teenager. I still like the mission control aspects of the last sketch and Gene Wilder’s love affair with Daisy is funny… but otherwise, I don’t think it’s aged all that well.
