BEGINNERS (Carlton) – I expected another movie based off the trailers I viewed beforehand. I expected this to be so much more about Oliver’s (McGregor) father’s (Christopher Plummer) coming out than it was. Instead, it’s a pretty straight forward father and son film, with a bit of a romance on the side. Goran Visnjic was an interesting choice to play dad’s boyfriend… played the character a bit dorky, and quite well.
