Two problems on this latest position I’m applying to would seem to indicate an apparent lack of care or attention to detail on behalf of the HR and recruiters. Advertising for skills that can’t exist unless you stretch the definitions…

Unless there’s some new developments at Microsoft, they don’t make MS SQL for Linux.

Build, configure, and maintain Linux servers, including:

• Install OS on servers
• Install Microsoft SQL Database and other applications on servers
• Configure and maintain data backups

Additionally, this last recruiter requires you to upload a resume, as you’d expect, but they also require that you manually input your job history. There’s a resume with that information in it, right there… how about you look at the resume?
