Tor.com wallpaper

I didn’t really think to save the wallpaper offerings from tor.com in addition to the free e-books, but I have decided to see what I can find by way of search engines and random guesswork, as it appears that the people at Tor aren’t cleaning their servers of the old images all that quickly.
Mostly, I don’t SEE the desktop of my computer, what with it being completely covered by a multitude of windows that have other things to look at. It’s like decorating the floor before you lay carpet on top of it; only you will know it’s there, even if you can’t quite remember what it looks like anymore… Anyhow, I do enjoy a challenge, so…
Here’s what has been put up so far, with links to the largest version made available; for anything else, you can scale it down on your own, or guess the URL based on these typical sizes:
iPhone 800-480 1024-768 1280-800 1280-1024 1680-1050
Thanks to Linda for all the new links!

That’s great. You had some of the ones I didn’t. I am still missing the very first ones offered:
February 29
Todd Lockwood’s cover for To Light a Candle by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory
Stephan Martiniere’s cover for Escapement by Jay Lake
The other one offered for March 7 was
John Jude Palencar’s cover for Someplace to be Flying by Charles de Lint
I think this covers the ones you are missing. (I used logic, too, to determine the ones from before I started receiving newsletters.)

That’s great; I’ll add the links into the body of the main post. Comments with plenty of URLs can get flagged as spam, so I’ll take a peek in the bucket where it throws all the pill ads.
It looks like you have them all, but it would not show them to me.
I just copied your links into the body. I have the system here set to auto-spam link heavy comments; they usually are spammers trying to sell me “v14gr4″ or something… somewhat necessary evil. I had to go fetch your comments out of the bucket.
You could delete most of my posts now, since you added the links to the main body of text. But, the following information might be useful to those looking for wallpapers of other sizes:
The following wallpapers come in iPhone, 800×480, 1024×768, 1280×800, 1280×1024, 1600×1200, and 1680×1050 sizes:
Tristan Elwell
Dan Dos Santos (cover for Tha Shaktra)
Dave McKean
Pablo Defendini (print inspired by Little Brother)
Stephen Youll
Michael Komarck
Seth Fisher
Gregory Manchess (painting for Omni)
Kinuko Craft
Jeff Jones
Bruce Jensen
Eric Fortune
The following wallpapers come in iPhone, 1024×768, 1280×800, 1280×1024, 1600×1200, and 1680×1050 sizes, but apparently not the 800×480 size:
Michael Kaluta
Pablo Defendini (cover for The Good Fairies of New York)
John Picacio
Bob Eggleton
Julie Bell
Boris Vallejo
Matthew C. Nielsen
Darrell K. Sweet
Shelly Wan
Scott M. Fischer
Stanley Meltzoff
Gregory Manchess (“Something Wicked”)
Raymond Swanland
Dan Dos Santos (MicroVisions charity painting)
Shelley Eshkar
Luis Royo
The following wallpapers come in iPhone, 1024×768, 1280×800, 1280×1024, 1680×1050 sizes, and apparently instead of 1600×1200 has 1680×1200, but not 800×480:
Sam Weber
Jon Foster
John Jude Palencar (but iPhone is given instead as 480×320)
The following wallpapers come in iPhone, 1024×768, 1280×800, 1280×1024, 1600×1200, 1680×1050, 1680×1200, but not 800×480 and the iPhone size is saved as “480-320″ instead of “iPhone”:
Donato Giancola (cover for City by Clifford D. Simak)
I do not have them, but I believe the first two wallpapers, by Todd Lockwood and Stephan Martiniere, came in sizes 1024×768, 1280×800, 1280×1024, and 1680×1050.

Oops. I put Stephen Youll in the category that has the 800×480 size by mistake.
Looks like all the wallpaper links are now dead. I believe I have all the wallpapers though, including the Feb 29th set of Todd Lockwood and Stephan Martiniere.
Can anyone send me the “The snake-wheel symbol from Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time series (designed by Matthew C. Nielsen)” It is one I am missing.
Email is gallaher#mike@gmail.com
Just take out the # for the email addy.
Thanks
Tor.com is making available all the wallpapers and novels they had previously offered. According to the post, it’s only until yesterday, but I just checked and its still up (for who knows how much longer)
