• Pizza Fire

I opted to go outside with the dog to get out of the big plume of smoke. Well that, and to see if I couldn’t get a couple decent pictures. I’d have pushed my luck a bit more if I didn’t have the dog on a leash; there were some nice shots that will only come out with cropping; we’ll see in the morning, as I’m too tired to load the contents of the memory card into the computer.

The pizza place that’s been open less than 3 months is going to be a smoking pit by morning. I’m assuming it was a big grease fire and a non-existent fire suppression system. Six or seven trucks, and supply hoses from every hydrant within a three block radius. The neighbouring businesses; hair salon, Dairy Queen, book store, and other offices are going to have massive water and smoke damage. The trucks are going to be throwing water at that building for at least another hour or two.

    Bed time.
