There just isn’t any proof. The burden of proof lies with the religious people who simply claim the supernatural to be true. (This freaks me out….belief in talking animals…evil creators, winged humans…imaginary friends in the sky.) The only thing anyone really has are facts…things that we can observe, test, experiment with. If a scientist were to say black holes, or something like physics just exists because I feel it to be true no one would buy that. The science community (which has given us everything …..medicine, watches, electricity, phones, tv, internet, etc…….) provides everything we need to know something to be true. Sadly religious people are living deluded lives, but as my mom any many others say “Why can’t we all just believe what we want to believe?”, well simply put…because you don’t want to believe something that is not true. Atheism rocks and reality is awesome! At the end of the day it’s all we have. Imagine no religion…..just imagine! :)

Brother Burnett: atheists are one of the most persecuted minorities there are. why would anyone choose to do that to “fit in”? 80% of the U.S. is some denomination of christian. if anyone is trying to “fit in”, it’s you.

Someone to help us? Help us when? I’m not really seeing the helping much…look at what is going on in the world..where is the help? And you think Atheism is “comfortable and acceptable to people to “fit in.””
You would not belive the crap I get when I say I’m Atheist. There is no way it is acceptable or fitting in with most people.
