While I’m sick I was trying to make the best use of my time with at least a little bit of studying. The company pays for a service from Skillport.com which provides a huge library of reference books online, and a decent selection of prep courses in technical and business topics across a wide range. I have mostly been “auditing” the Linux courses, writing the exams without sitting through the courses, just to have the mark.

Many of these classes can apply directly to Prior Learning credit with a number of correspondence schools that I would consider finishing off a degree through. I’m also refreshing my knowledge of things like Systems Analysis and investigating Business Analysis, management, and a number of other fields.

What is wrong with the one in the middle? Is she insane, caught mid-sneeze, or does she just smell something funky? I can only imagine that they didn’t want to pay full price for stock photo and let the boss’ kid and his friends shoot and model for everything. I think I’ll pay more attention to the photos in the other courses; there’s no telling what other classics I could miss if I’m just paying attention to the course material.
