Crazy Locals

I posted a handful of DVDs on the local version of Kijiji to see if I could move some of them before going to a solution that would involve ebay, paypal and shipping surcharges. I listed about a dozen DVDs priced between $10 and $20 and this is one of the few responses I received.

you can get new movies at a pawn shop for 5 bucks each, I actually bought 10 dvd’s recently with zero scratches and cases in mint shape. So what were you thinking price wise for 10?
My initial thought for a reply would have been simply “Fuck off, moron” but I went with the slightly less abrasive “Go to the pawn shop if you want to buy movies for $5. Enjoy.”
I posted a list, but it seems that single posts listing one DVD at a time with picture and descriptions like I’d do with ebay. I was hoping to avoid all the work, but I suppose…
As part of testing the DVDs I’m selling, I’m encoding the director commentaries from the DVDs to MP3… More on this later.
I’ve have also posted DVD’s and computer game ads at times on the local halifax Kijiji and gotten asinine comments from this same fireblazer666@hotmail.com clown. I’d like to arrange a short meeting with this fool so that it would give me an opportunity to give him a painfull response. I dont know why people use Kijiji as their personal chat room and think they have to give you comments on items they have no intention of buying..
