Pressed Faeries

As if I really need an excuse to go into a camera shop, I came up with an idea for a series of Dragon*Con photos that might be fun. I hold no expectations of the photos being exactly artistic or anything, but they should be fun. Some equipment was required; a circular polarizing filter to cut reflections off the glass, and a tripod to help keep the camera from shaking from the laughter. The tripod will come in handy during general picture-taking, and likely serve to attract costumed weirdos.
Seeing as how Tania and her Cruxshadows street-team dress as faeries to advertise the band’s performances, I thought it might be worthwhile to make use of the faeries for my amusement. We’re going to be doing live-action pressed faeries. Might need to take a backing sheet of some sort, and get volunteers to hold the “subject” up against the window, and cut down on the background.
The staff at the Marriott will hate this; face-prints all over the windows. If full-body faeries don’t work out, there’s always just pressed faerie faces…
