The project team will consist of over 50 people based in Halifax – nearly 30 J2EE/Java developers, 10 Project Managers and around 10 Business Analysts.

The bad part is that they’re trying to find these Java developers in Halifax. It’s hard finding anyone in town that isn’t a recent grad, so they bring people from anywhere they can to fill the staffing holes. Odds are that people already here know other locals that might be interested in a job, and $2000 is a bit cheaper than the costs associated with relocating someone.

No idea on wages, but if you have a resume, I’ll pretend you’re my best friend and the best damned Java/J2EE programmer I ever met; I might even be interested in spliting that bonus…
