I’m sure anyone who still reads this knows about the Bekins Moving and Storage problems, and the relationship issues and everything else. Well, last night Tania recieved an email to tell her that her maternal grandfather (Opa) died three hours earlier.

Now, it might seem harsh to see that sort of thing in an email, but with the recent move and change of phone phone numbers, she couldn’t find it. Tania hasn’t had the best relationship with many in her family, let alone with Opa… still, I felt bad that there’s just no cash to be had to get her out to Calgary for the funeral… If we had $700 or whatever the cost of a ticket is, it would be going to the movers…

Today, Tania has spoken to her family on the phone, and there’s an offer floating out to pay to fly her out to Calgary. There was an offer to fly the both of us, but with the the dog to arrange a place for the dog to stay and the new job still being in probation for another month, I’m going to be staying here.
