I had never read Violent Acres’ writing before; I merely found that how to fight article thanks to a link from something else I found on Digg.com.
I started reading more pieces there, and found the story of the Magic Ice Cream, which caused me to laugh in quite a violent manner.
Brilliant.

That was brilliant. Hah!
I was feeling depressed due to having my hours and income cut in half by our lovely economy. So rather than realize many people are much worse off than I am and make the best of a lousy situation, I decided to seek out others of like mind and came upon Violent Acres where I read about grandmas, Christians and ice cream and laughed my ass off. Now I don’t care much that I am feeling depressed. I have a right to feel this way and it’s OK. I’ll get through it and if I can still laugh like that I can’t be too bad. Thanks for helping me keep it all in perspective. I could be living in my car! (Already in debt, but I will survive.
