When you’re in a relationship…

As soon as I accept a long term contract with a “soulless multinational”, I get calls from all sorts of recruiters with interesting sounding jobs… I’ve had a couple per day since I started on Monday, but while they sound interesting enough, I can’t justify jumping ship at this one at this time
“Nice chatting with you this morning. As mentioned, I’m looking for a UNIX Support/Sys Admin person in a 6-month contract to start with a large organization in Burnaby. Their environment is HP/Solaris with Oracle running Remedy; the good thing is that the client has a 1-2 month training program. The rate starts at $30/hr, and this person will be working in a team/shift environment.”
The Shifts are said to be 12 hours in length, but arranged in a 5 on / 5 off…
Sounds like they’ll take someone with general unix and database knowledge and retrain them for Solaris / Oracle if need be.

He said he’s meeting with the client tomorrow, so you might want to send him a resume now if you’re interested.

From what I hear CNCGlobal is almost as Evil as Accenture..
