• Shop around, even if you’re shopping in iTunes

    Found something odd in the iTunes Music Store today. Two entries exist for the same album, at radically different prices, and which price you pay appears to depend on which version you go to…

    The cheap one or the expensive one. You can pay $9.99 or $20.79; your choice. The songs are the same quality, length, and still only 21 of them with no fancy videos or anything on the pricier one.

      This is pretty common with places that handles imports. You could go into Virgin and find the same album in three different places for three different prices.

      Oddly in this case the “import” from Warner UK is cheaper than the canadian import from Rhino Warner, which is a Colorado company.. Hrm. Maybe they price UK regular and US as “import” in the CDN iTunes..
