Well, I won’t have any information on whether I will have full media accreditation for the Vancouver International Film Festival until much closer to the festival itself. In the meantime, the press screenings are starting next week, and I’ll be able to get in some practice, taking in 4 films a day on Thursday and Friday next week. The screenings will be happening at a theatre in town that has nearly zero padding on the seats, so there will be suffering for the art, even if I’m not creating anything myself.

One way or another, I’ll be attending the festival proper at the end of September; whether accedited as media or not. I will do my best to review every film I see, as I see it. I’ll have the laptop with me, and should find time between shows to post things… wonder if they’ll have wi-fi in the Granville 7 theatre at least…

I will also try to attend any of the director, cast, and crew Q&A sessions and am inquiring about recording those for release those for download.
