At least according to a statement made by evangelical group Repent America, where they blame an annual event by the name of Southern Decadence, of incurring the wrath of God.
“Let us pray for those ravaged by this disaster. However, we must not forget that the citizens of New Orleans tolerated and welcomed the wickedness in their city for so long,” Marcavage said.
“May this act of God cause us all to think about what we tolerate in our city limits, and bring us trembling before the throne of Almighty God,” Marcavage concluded.

Really it was only a matter of time before the wackos started saying it was an act of god. I’m surprised they haven’t blamed it on the voodoo/juju religion that still have a big following in New Orleans.

Oh no, it could not have had to do with God’s wrath, after all we all know the mind of God and He would certainly condone rampant homosexuality fornication and other debauchery,Right?
