Well, posting to MySpace was pretty much a non-event; it just worked with no fight at all. Now I have the LiveJournal account and the MySpace account taking my posts from the WordPress site.

For the LiveJournal types, this gives you a choice between full feed (xinitsblog) that hasn’t been importing correctly (because LJ can’t deal with tags without shitting all over the floor and not allowing me to clean it up) or my normal account (xinit) that just gets the excerpts.

I’m using a WordPress 1.5.x site here, with plugins MyPress 0.6.6 and LivePress. I had to turn off older plugins that I was using to replace LJ tags, and I disabled music and mood posting to get the LJ one to work. Each of the plugins claims that it will allow me to write, edit, and delete posts from the main site. We’ll see.

One thing that I thought was interesting was the ability to choose which LJ journal or community to post to.
