Pat Robertson; Terrorist

Pat Robertson calling for the execution of a foreign leader; I rather like the suggestion that this isn’t much different from Osama bin Laden calling for the death of George W. Bush. They both have pretty radical followers who might be capable of extreme action if they believed their leader’s promises…
Mr Robertson, 75, said on Monday’s edition of the 700 Club: “We have the ability to take him [Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez] out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability.”
Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel said this was a “criminal statement” and the way Washington responded to the remarks would put its anti-terrorism policy to the test.
“It’s huge hypocrisy to maintain this discourse against terrorism and at the same time, in the heart of that country there are entirely terrorist statements like those.”
Pat Robinson is one of the world’s oldest living terrorists.

I do subscribe to what Pat said on the 700 club and sad that he appologised about it today. I know many people oppose what he said on the show but if you follow world events, Chavez is a serious danger to the United States, who is spreading Anti- U.S philosophy through misinformation around the world, we need to learn something, if we are out there to take out terrorists, we need not to choose their occupation. Hezbollar leadership has been seriously decapitated by Israel using the assasination plot and is cost effective and is a qucik way to show resolve.
The problem we have in the United States is that it takes tragedy for us to change our rules and the tragedy that awaits us is another Communist country that will develop down there in Venuezela and a leader who will want to cripple the American economy by stopping Oil exports.
Bin Laden was tolerated like Chavez not untill he managed to attack us. remember the old rule, shoot first and ask questions last or you be the first to die.
Assasinating Robert Mugabe or Chvez wouldn’t cause a lot of problems in their perspective countries but where it couldnt work well we shouldnt try include countries like South Korea or Iran. Call me stupid or whatever but watch, if Chvez is not dealt with soon, we are going to pay a hefty price, i promise.his hatred for America was recently exported to other parts of the world at the recent ceremony held in his country for world youth day, he is now calling us an imperialist nation and wants the world to know us by that name.
I think that no matter what, it is a terrorist threat and he should be proscuted. I mean according to all the new laws what he said is illegal, but since it was said by a “powerful white american man” it is ok. Reguardless of what we think about another countrys threat to us, many country feel we are a threat to them. So if it is ok to assassinate the leader of a country that you feel is a threat to you, then is it ok for Osama to keep attacking us, or Iran to attack, or God Forbid North Korea? Who is a threat to who is a matter of opinion to the person saying it. And everyone thinks that they are right, so until someone steps up and be a bigger man, there will always be major conflicts between countrys.
