Testing out a couple OSX tools for posting to this place, including ecto (which is so much better looking and behaving on OS X that it makes the Windows nothing but a pale imitation) and MarsEdit.

I did try out the Dashboard Widget “WordPressDash” which just doesn’t appeal to me. It’s a nice enough little application, but I’m put off by the Dashboard as a whole; I’m a bit lost on the usefullness of a Dashboard of widgets and tools that aren’t readily accessible. How useful is a battery monitor widget that goes away when you go back to your applications? I’ve got to be missing some arcane setting to make them stick around.

Think I’m more of a Konfabulator / Yahoo Widgets fan, as they stay visible when you’re doing other things.

I’m not sure which WordPress application I like better at this point….
