    I haven’t watched it yet, but I’m assured it’s amazing…

The unaired, shelved (?) pilot that belongs to DC and Warner Brothers, it’s
Global Frequency (bittorrent download). It’s downloading now, and Warren Ellis is amazed at the response.

I can only say thank you for all your kind words. (and occasional hysterical begging for more episodes. And creepy, creepy rage)

There’s a ton of pages out there referencing this little project, too…

Update: Welcome to Vancouver, home of the Global Frequency pilot; the thing that made this truly obvious was one of the most commonly used locations here in town; The Ovaltine diner. The photography is quite nice; some of the best I’ve seen in something shot for TV, and the sets are well dressed, good costuming; this is a technically excellent production.

I do have a problem with one of the characters; I’m not entirely sure if it’s scripting, direction, or actor choice. Of any cast member, Miranda Zero feels most like she’s a two dimensional comic book character. Aleph doesn’t feel exactly right either, but it might be something about the interaction with Miranda that’s tainting her. On top of that; who runs a global conspiracy of this size and complexity and will just tell anyone who picks up a phone off a corpse all about what they do?
