Jason Calacanis – Paid to Blog for Marqui?

Earlier, I mentioned Jason’s post about the Marqui blogging program and how it relates to ethically fried chicken, or something along those lines. I posted a comment on his entry, and asked if, perhaps Jason might be blogging for Marqui; he does mention them frequently enough to be on the payroll. Jason didn’t authorize my comment, and has authorized and responded to other inquiries. I was just trying to be funny – there was no serious intent in the post, but now I’m curious.
All I ask for is disclosure, Jason; why won’t you tell us whether you’re paid by Marqui or not? Do you have something to hide, Jason?
The court of public opinion is waiting.
Update: It’s still funny, but I didn’t catch the email confirmation of my post… spam filter… So, my comment is posted, and Jason isn’t out to get me. Well, THIS time anyhow, but I’m withholding judgement otherwise.

Maybe he does have something to hide seeings how he edited one my comments so that it didn’t refer back to my post at Marqui. Of course, now he’s back to just plain old name-calling, so perhaps I’m not all that surprised. What’s that saying? Sticks and stones…
No, I’m not working for Marqui… nor did I not approve your comments (i only ding vulgar, hateful stuff…)
Even when I thought that maybe you had ignored my comment, I was
trying to be funny; I mean, how much better could it get for a
marketing person? Hiring someone to piss off the people that you
hired to blog about you, and then pointing the bloggers at the
target…
