The best thing about this whole thing is that there’s no monitor, which is the one thing that I saw most of the problems with when dealing with the other low-end machines; eMacs and iMacs and the clamshell iBooks. This little machine, with the wireless would make a pretty decent portable machine.
I’m not a fan of a machine with a single slot for RAM, especially with the current cost of 1GB DIMMs, but this is a pretty decent looking little home machine.
Oh, and check out Engadget’s play by play of the MacWorld keynote that announced this hardware and (gasp!) that flash based iPod called the iShuffle.
