That residency in France that I mentioned before is coming up soon. February 1 soon. As part of it, I need three gushing letters of reference sent in to the board as well. At least they’ll take email submissions for those letters.

Basically need someone who’s familiar with my work and knows me personally. I think I have a couple people I can go to for these… I can’t imagine any of these people saying no at least.

There is a darkroom that’s reasonable enough, some beautiful buildings, and some impressive grounds. I really need to come up with a good proposal for this. The apartments have housekeeping staff…

Each apartment has a specific character and charm of its own. They all, however, share a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean

There are no phones in the apartments but they will give you a mobile phone to use.

Cassis is located in the Provence region of France. Marseille, St-Remy-de-Provence, Avignon…

Situated in SE France between the Mediterranean and the Alps, Provence is famous for the beautiful scenery that inspired works by Van Gogh and Cezanne. Extraordinary landscapes, including the vineyards of Gigondas, the silvery olive groves of Nyons and the lavender-scented hills that dot the region, combined with a rich historical past that can be seen in Provence’s archaeological and architectural sites, its mild climate and the myriad celebrations and festivals, make it particularly attractive to visitors from around the world. The area is also noted for its exceptional Provencal cuisine and local wines.

I would imagine that “your material” has never been sent out by the Camargo Foundation. Likely due to the fact that they’ve never had a request from you to send them anything.

Try contacting the residency itself and I’m sure that you’d have better luck getting any material. You’re posting to a web log of someone who A) has never been to France B) has never applied for the residency and C) has no idea how to contact them outside of the information I made conveniently available in the post.

So, perhaps you should try contacting the Camargo Foundation themselves, by clicking on the link on that web log page that TAKES YOU RIGHT TO THE
      APPLICATION PAGE on their site.

I’m half tempted to email the foundation with your contact information to explain how lacking your critical thinking skills are in that you couldn’t
understand simple instructions on how to apply. Had you correctly clicked on a LINK to the application page, you’d know that applications were due February 1, 2004 with the next round being due in January 2005. Gosh, you may have even been able to apply for the 2004 residency if you’d just paid attention.

So, yeah, learn how to use a mouse to click on things.
