Errand day… The upside of having no day-to-day job is that you can do things like run around all day spending money you don’t have and dropping things off or picking things up. Had to go visit the photography supply faeries and convince them to sell me some paper and developer. I bought those multicontrast filters for the enlarger too – they should pull out some images on some of my otherwise ruined negatives, so they should be worth it.

Then off to buy some dog food and lizard food. Settled on some store brand of canned dog food that wasn’t loaded with preservatives or odd things. Hopefully Kandy won’t be puking it up. Touchy stomach. The lizard’s got some kind of infection yet again, and he’s got a patch of hard skin that’s cracked and will likely peel off. It’s just like what happened on his dewlap last year. We thought that was a burn from a heating pad, but now know better. Thinking about giving him a nice warm bath to help soak it off. I’d like to know what’s causing it, but last time the blood tests showed he was completely normal, so I’m not really wanting to go hand over a hundred bucks to a vet again to get a net gain of zero. Bathe him and smear antiseptic on it… that’s the advice we’d be likely to get anyhow.

Buncha sick animals. :sigh: At least the fish’s cloudy patches that looked vaguely mold-like have cleared up.

Also dropped off my parking pass for my downtown space. There’s $90 a month I don’t need to spend now. Nearly had to run over three striking Govt of Canada workers. They didn’t appear to understand that driveways to public parking aren’t really where they can loiter. It’s not even the entrance to where they worked. Apparently being able to identify your place of employment isn’t a requirement for public servants now. I’m not their biggest fan considering I’m trying to collect [un]employment insurance and they’re all getting between me and that goal.

That sound? That’s me eating away at my savings.
